Joe Jarvis is an award-winning Christian Artist from Metro Detroit. Coming from a musical family, his passion for music and ministry ignited at a young age. Joe is described as an old soul with a young heart. Despite his nickname, “Smiley”, he knows from personal experience that life isn’t always easy. His music reflects his desire to help bring people together, positively impact people's lives and share the hope that he has found through his faith. (1 Peter 4:10)
Joe hit the ground running after winning the Michigan State Fair Superstar Competition back in 2022. He has performed live on Fox 2 News Detroit, has caught the attention of Nashville media after playing at The Bluebird Cafe, as well as being interviewed on WMUZ Detroit Radio, multiple podcasts and other media outlets. Joe has opened for incredible CCM artists such as Cochren and Co, Micah Tyler, Ryan Stevenson, Apollo LTD, We Are Messengers, Sanctus Real and more!
In 2024, Joe and his team launched the "Love N Laughs Tour," a collaborative ministry event with local Celebrate Recovery groups in tri-state area churches. Focused on providing hope and healing through Jesus for those navigating emotional and mental health issues. The tour has garnered support and on-air promotion from Family Life Radio Detroit.
Over the years, Joe has grown his musical style by taking the best of both old and new influences. His original CCM music can be described as a blend of pop, country, rock and folk influences. After self-producing his debut single, “Breaking Ground", Joe has partnered up with award-winning producer, Dale Grisa. Joe's debut “Love Is a Verb” EP is coming this Summer, in 2024!
